This weekend was the SF Pride parade and it was so much fun! I intelligently forgot my camera at home so I just have some poorly shot iPhone pictures of it- which aren't even good enough to share on here. But the parade was colorful and fun..

I've been awarded the beautiful blogger award! I have to pay it forward- and don't have time right this minute- but thank you mamaTave for the award and I will be sure to work on it soon!

Also, went shopping with a friend while Mr. R was out of town and got some sweet things for my apartment. Mama and Papa and Brother Rockit are all coming to town so I have to make the place look as adult as possible! Now it's time for grown up purchases like artwork and vases. WoohoO!

I know I've been really bad. I keep saying I'll post up pictures but there are so many good shows on TV these days. haha. Anyway. Instead of posting pictures of my amazing apartment or putting more things up in my shop, I will tell you about this dream I had last night.

Yay! I won tickets to see Colin hearts Kay, an independent film at the SF united film festival on one of my fave blogs sfgirlbybay.

Looks super cute- can't wait to see it with the mister. And I actually won something- I feel special.

Anyway, check out Victoria's website- she talks about awesome interior and regular style among other awesome fun things. And I like her a lot because she gave me free things.

Happy Monday to you all! I have a cold! WAHHH.

Happy things are happening, my apartment is finally starting to look like a home and I will post pictures when it finally looks perfect. :) Went to Indie Mart this weekend and had a great time, I forgot to bring my camera so I didn't take any pictures, sadly- but there were a lot of really great vendors- and I'm super excited to check out this store which had a ton of great finds.

Biz Cards

Business cards! You can't see them that well to be honest because I took a picture with my phone, but they are adorable and I love them forever. Also, I'm second guessing my decision to put my phone number on these cards- I hope I don't gain any stalkers. I watch way too many crime shows. Criminal Minds is my new favorite, although Bones is definitely my all time fave. What is your favorite crime show?

Mystery Bag

The Longchamp mystery has been solved!!

I may just be really late to the party- but I've been seeing this bag EVERYWHERE and on EVERY girl in New York and even girls here, and I did not know why or what the deal was with it, so I finally searched online today and found what it is. It's a Longchamp bag! And I'm not so sure what the big fuss about it is, so I'm curious to know- do any of you have this bag, and why is it so amazing? for 100-250 $ it's not a cheap purchase. I do know that it folds up into a little rectangle after you use it. And it comes in a bunch of different colors. But every girl I see with it tends to be fashionable to some extent- so it must be a fashionable bag. See that deductive reasoning there? Genius.

So tell me. What's the big deal?

Betty Botter Bought a Bit of Butter...

I got sick on Monday with God knows what- and didn't get to do a ton of things I wanted to. I did get to go to the park and to Maker Faire this weekend, and I will update with pictures of that later, but for now I will leave you with this.

Just the cutest mother and son picture ever. It's cold in SF sometimes. Apparently this is the coldest April and May in 12 years. I'm okay with that because I thought it was actually pretty nice.

I ordered business cards today from moo.com, and they are SO cute. Here are a few examples of the prints I ordered. I ordered ready made ones to get my shop off the ground- it's very quick and easy. The designs are by Nut and Bee.

So a couple things. First, I was thinking about this giveaway and how once upon a time in like 2nd or 3rd grade- I participated in a giveaway sort of homemade swap for my class in school. I made a huge chocolate cake with my mom with sprinkles and was really proud of it. I received a piece of construction paper with black acrylic paint smeared all over it. And I cried. I remember thinking how horrible that child was- to not even try. And even now- I wish I could remember who gave that to me so I could defriend them on facebook! Just joking, but seriously- that was traumatic.
